I work as an artist, educator, forest school practitioner and photographer. I’m driven by a love of the natural world; a connection to nature, natural resources and the land feeds into all projects I work on.
I work predominantly through collaboration with schools, community groups, organisations, artists and venues; creating work though projects, residencies, commissions and training.
I believe that we all use our imaginations and creative instincts to play, to learn, to explore, to communicate and to make sense of our surroundings, ourselves and our experiences. Whether working in collaboration or by myself I seek to work in a way that is about engaging with this sense of exploration and playfulness. I draw much of my inspiration from the Reggio Emilia ethos and the approach of educators in Scandinavia.
